Photographic Safaris Kenya
Small-group wildlife photography trips

The Masai Mara is one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations and a photographer’s dream.
Known for its big cats such as lion, leopard and cheetah, but also elephant, giraffe, hippo, hyena, zebra, antelope and a wonderful variety of birdlife.
Each game drive holds something new, and we take our time to watch natural behaviour unfold rather than rushing from sighting to sighting.

Depending on dates We will also spend time in Amboseli, famous for its elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The marsh areas provide wonderful opportunities for reflections and gentle wildlife moments at the water’s edge.

At Ol Pejeta Conservancy, we have the chance to see the largest population of black and white rhinos in East Africa, along with elephants, plains game and predators.
This is also an excellent place to learn about ongoing conservation work.
Is This Safari For You?

These trips are designed for photographers of all experience levels.
Non-photographers are equally welcome.
Group sizes are small, with 3–4 guests per vehicle, giving each person room to move and time for guidance.

I share practical photography tips in the field such as composition, light, behaviour prediction and help you return home with images you’re truly proud of.

We stay in small tented camps inside the conservancies, close to the wildlife and far from the crowds.
I have spent several years living and working in the Mara, and I know many of the landscapes, prides and cheetah territories well.
This lets us position thoughtfully, watch quietly, and let the wildlife come to us...
Always respecting their space.
Where we stay

We stay in comfortable safari camps located inside the conservancies, close to the wildlife
and away from the crowds.
Each tent is a walk-in canvas room with a proper bed, en-suite bathroom, hot shower, and flushing toilet.
Simple, comfortable, and connected to nature.

Meals are freshly prepared and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
There are charging points either in the tents or the main lounge, and Wi-Fi is available
in the communal areas if needed.

A comfortable tent and the gentle sounds of the bush at night.
Vehicles

We use open-sided 4×4 safari vehicles, with a maximum of 3–4 guests per vehicle.
This gives space to move, find angles, and photograph comfortably.

Your guide and I work together to anticipate behaviour, position respectfully,
and allow wildlife to move naturally.
If you would like to be part of the next group, feel free to get in touch.
I would be very happy to talk it through with you
Women on Safari
A relaxed, supportive women-only safari

This safari is designed for women who would like to travel in a friendly, comfortable, and welcoming group.
We take our time, enjoy the landscapes, and create space to simply be in nature.

We spend time in the Mara Conservancies and Ol Pejeta, where wildlife is plentiful and
the atmosphere is quieter than inside the main reserve.
Expect lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, rhinos, and a wonderful variety of birdlife.
Each day brings its own surprises. This is not a rushed safari.
We watch quietly, allow moments to unfold naturally, and enjoy the company of like-minded women
who share a curiosity for wildlife and travel.

You do not need to be a photographer, although you are welcome to learn and experiment
if you’d like to.
The focus is on experience, connection, and truly being in the wild.
