Living The African Dream
Alison will transport you to Africa by joining her journey through Africa with her photographs and stories from the bush.
Spending 16 years living and working in Africa in the safari industry, supporting community projects and working with researchers in Cheetah observations.
She shares her experiences with nature, which includes watching a family of cheetah from 4 weeks old until they become independent from their mother.
This talk is adapted for photographic clubs whereby I will explain the equipment used and settings/positioning.
For Non-photographic talks, I will give an overview of the wildlife and experiences I had whilst living in the bush.
If you want to book a talk, please contact me for further information and availability.

Thank you again so much for such a wonderful evening. It brought back so many lovely memories for me, and like you, Africa got into my blood in a way that travels to many other parts of the world didn't, even though they were fantastic experiences. Your images were stunning and your commentary really informative and I loved sharing your journey with you. it was certainly an evening to remember. Jill NRPS
I refer to your recent ‘ visit ‘ to our club and wanted to send you a huge THANK YOU for such a great evening.
Your passion came across very strongly and it was special to share your life and experiences in Africa.
Your photography is outstanding and I love the way you portray the Wildlife in the context of their lives. Also, you told us their stories, being involved as you are with their well-being in the wild. I was impressed by the conservancy you told us about in the Masai Mara. It is so well managed with that crucial balance of life of community, animals and culture.
You do not stop at photographing, you are involved to make a change. Thanks again. Wishing you all the best. Marianne Programme Secretary Seven Sisters Camera Club
